Why Location Matters
Your proximity to our logistics network directly impacts delivery times, shipping costs, and the range of service options available to your business. Understanding our hub-and-spoke model helps you know what to expect.
Hub-and-Spoke from New Haven, CT
Box Recycle operates from our central hub in New Haven, Connecticut. This strategic location places us at the heart of the Northeast corridor — one of the densest business regions in the country. From here, we coordinate all buying, selling, recycling, and transportation services through a hub-and-spoke distribution model.
Our hub processes, inspects, sorts, and grades all used boxes before they're shipped out to buyers. Sellers ship or schedule pickups to our facility, where materials are evaluated and payments processed quickly. This centralized approach lets us maintain strict quality control on every box we sell and ensures consistent grading standards no matter where your order ships.
For recycling customers, we coordinate pickup schedules and route planning from the hub, ensuring that materials are collected efficiently and processed responsibly through our certified zero-landfill program.
Three Service Tiers
Local — Same-Day CT Area
Businesses in the greater Connecticut area benefit from same-day and next-morning service. Our own fleet handles pickups and deliveries directly, with no third-party carriers needed. This includes all of CT and parts of neighboring New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
Regional — Next-Day Northeast
The broader Northeast corridor — from Maine to Virginia — typically receives next-day or two-day service. We use a combination of our fleet and trusted regional carriers to maintain fast, reliable delivery across this zone. Most orders placed before noon arrive the following business day.
National — 3–7 Day Freight
For states beyond the Northeast, we ship via our network of LTL (less-than-truckload) and full truckload freight partners. Delivery windows range from 3-7 business days depending on distance. We handle all freight coordination, and our rates remain competitive because of our shipping volume.

Warehouse & Sorting
Our facility in New Haven houses a full-scale sorting operation where incoming boxes are inspected, cleaned, graded by condition (A, B, or C), and organized by size for efficient order fulfillment.
Processing Capacity
We process thousands of boxes daily, from individual cartons to full truckloads of gaylord boxes and pallets. Our system handles high-volume orders without delays or backlog.
Fleet & Vehicles
Our local fleet includes box trucks and flatbeds for same-day pickups and deliveries across the CT area. For larger or longer-distance shipments, our freight partners provide seamless coverage.
Shipping Partnerships
We maintain relationships with major LTL carriers, full truckload brokers, and regional delivery services. These partnerships ensure competitive rates and reliable transit times to every state.
Service Capabilities by Region
While every state receives the same products and services, delivery speed and logistics options vary by region. Here's what to expect based on your location.
Our home territory. Businesses in the Northeast benefit from our local fleet based in New Haven, CT. This means same-day and next-day delivery options, direct pickup service for box sellers and recycling customers, and the fastest turnaround times in our network. Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania see the highest volume of service.
The Southeast is one of our fastest-growing regions. With established freight partnerships and regional carrier relationships, we provide consistent 2-4 day service to states like Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia. Manufacturing hubs in Tennessee and Kentucky receive regular scheduled shipments.
America's manufacturing heartland generates enormous demand for packaging materials. Our Midwest service covers major industrial corridors in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. We maintain dedicated freight lanes to Chicago, Detroit, Columbus, and other key metro areas, with 3-5 day standard delivery.
From the massive distribution networks of Texas to the growing logistics corridors of Arizona, the Southwest receives full service through our national freight partnerships. Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Phoenix are among our most active cities in this region, with 4-6 day delivery windows.
West Coast and Mountain states are served through our established LTL and full truckload freight partnerships. California, Washington, Oregon, and Colorado receive regular shipments. While lead times are slightly longer at 5-7 business days, we offer the same product quality, competitive pricing, and reliability that defines our service.
